Running DataWedge concurrently with FieldMetrix results in many scanning and picture data capture issues.
How do you know if DataWedge is running?

The easiest way to disable
DataWedge is to tap on the
DataWedge
icon and if the
Running status indicates that
DataWedge is currently
active you can tap it to stop it.
DataWedge Stopped
In most cases this is all you need to do to ensure FieldMetrix and DataWedge can co-exist.
However if you find that DataWedge "reactivates" after a warm boot then you need to set up
a DataWedge profile which prevents DataWedge from running when FieldMetrix is active.
